Healthy students perform better in school. Good eating habits, plenty of physical activity, and adequate sleep are proven to increase memory retention, improve test scores, and contribute to academic success. As we cultivate a love of learning in our children and teach them good study habits, we also strive to model healthy behavior and encourage them to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Stonebrae encourages families and teachers to help promote a culture of health and wellness at our school by supporting sound nutrition, environmental stewardship, and hands-on, experiential learning through garden-based projects.
There are many ways to become involved! You can share these messages with other parents, donate supplies, and volunteer to support these activities in the classroom or at school events.
